Before requesting a payout
Confirm the account number and account holder details in the operator’s own interface. Bet9ja’s published guide describes withdrawing to a registered bank account in the customer’s name. Other operators may use different workflows, so check their current requirements directly.
If it says sent
Ask the operator for the outbound transfer reference and check the destination account in your bank history. A merchant’s internal request number may not be the reference the receiving bank can trace. Record both if available.
Do not pay a stranger to release funds
If someone requests a separate transfer to unlock a payout, stop and independently check with official support. Keep the message and any payment record. Never disclose a PIN, password or OTP.
